AI Governance & Security

Secure the AI workflows you actually run.

Your existing frameworks were written for applications, not for agents that read your data, hold credentials, call tools, and take actions on your behalf. Datum Zero secures the whole workflow, from the data going in to the actions coming out, then documents it to the standards your auditors already recognize.

01 / THE WORK
Three stages

See it, secure it, govern it.

01

Discover & classify

You cannot secure what you cannot see. We inventory every AI system, agent, and automated workflow, then classify each by the data it touches and the actions it can take.

  • Full AI, agent, and workflow inventory
  • Owner, purpose, data access, and tool permissions recorded
  • Impact based risk tiering
  • Shadow AI discovery and reconciliation
Required first step under NIST AI RMF and the EU AI Act registry
02

Secure the workflow

A structured, checkable security baseline for the whole workflow, the equivalent of a Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) for your models, your agents, and the tools they reach.

  • Identity, credentials, and tool permissions scoped to the task
  • Prompt injection paths and output handling
  • Approval gates for consequential actions, logging, and a tested stop
  • Serving and infrastructure hardening with severity rated findings
Assessed against a defined control baseline
03

Govern

We stand up an AI management system that turns ad hoc adoption into a repeatable, accountable program, with every workflow owned and reviewed.

  • Program aligned to ISO 42001 and NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF)
  • AI policies and risk register
  • Repeatable use case intake and review
  • Roles, accountability, and oversight
Governance that an auditor can follow
02 / THE BASELINE
AI security hardening assessment

A checklist the way defense systems get one.

We assess a deployed AI workflow end to end against a structured baseline of configuration and control checks, from the data it can read to the actions it can take. Every finding carries a severity and a fix, so you get a prioritized path, not a list of theory.

Data and inputs

What the workflow is allowed to read, retrieval and data controls, and the prompt injection paths that arrive with untrusted content.

Model and serving

The serving stack, model artifacts, network exposure, secrets, and logging that sit under the model.

Tools and actions

Agent credentials and permissions scoped to the task, approval gates for consequential actions, rate and cost controls, output handling, and guardrails.

Governance

Inventory, change control, and a tested ability to contain or stop a misbehaving workflow.

03 / EVIDENCE
Built to count

Findings that drop into the evidence you already keep.

01Standards aligned

Every check references recognized sources, so the work is operationalizing standards rather than inventing them.

02Control mapped

Findings carry NIST 800-53 and ISO 42001 references, so they slot straight into your existing compliance record.

03Compensating controls

Where a control cannot be met directly, a documented alternative set can meet its intent, with no partial credit.

04Independent by design

We prepare you and produce the evidence. Independent assessors and accredited bodies provide certification.

EU AI Act readiness

Dates on the calendar, not a forecast.

The EU AI Act is already in force, with obligations phasing in. The main high risk requirements now apply from 2 December 2027, and AI built into regulated products from 2 August 2028. For many organizations, an incomplete AI inventory becomes a compliance gap under binding law. We package discovery, workflow security, and governance toward those dates, with conformity documentation as the deliverable.

READINESS PATH3 STEPS

1 · Inventory and classify

Know what AI you run and the risk tier of each system.

2 · Secure the workflow

Assess and remediate the data, model, tool, and action layers.

3 · Govern and document

Stand up the management system and produce conformity evidence.
